Spring is here!

Hello lovelies and welcome back to my blog! It’s been a while I know and I have an overload of uni work to thank for that!

The sun has finally come out and although it is still taking its time to get warmer and I am still fighting a losing battle with the wind when I go outside which completely ruins my hair and makes it a knotty mess, I thought it was only right that I shared some of my clothing and makeup spring picks with you.

I’ve been trying to add some more colour to my wardrobe and I think I have definetely achieved it with what I have bought lately! Although it may need to be a lot warmer for me to wear some of the items, there is no reason why I won’t be wearing these bits 24/7 at home!

First up is this cute Bardot top from New Look which I got for just £9.99! I’ve always wanted a top like this and I just think these kind of tops look so flattering and would go great with some light blue jeans or a skirt. 

These next bits are all from Primark and obviously I got them for bargain prices!! Primark have some really lovely spring and summer clothes in at the moment that it’s hard not to pick up tops or short in every colour!

These shorts were just £2.50 and I am in love with them. I think they are the perfect loungewear item…for now anyway as it’s not quite warm enough yet for me to rock up wearing them outside! My clothes are usually quite plain but these just called out to me and they give me major holiday vibes.

This little cami vest top was just £3 and it will be great to wear with a little jacket or cardigan. I love it as I feel like it can give a really simple outfit the pop of colour that it can sometimes need.

I think this next item is my favourite. I’ve always wanted a pair of trousers like this but was never sure if I could pull them off, turns out they look okay on me! For just £7, they are probably the comfiest pair of trousers I’ve ever owned and I can already tell I’m going to be wearing them all time. Primark have so many different patterns to choose from too I wanted to buy them all!

Next up are some makeup bits which I think are perfect for spring!

I recently purchased this eyeshadow palette which is the Makeup Revolution collaboration with Youtuber Sophdoesnails. I’ve always watched her videos and was so excited to finally get my hands on her palette. I love the variety of colours and they are so pigmented, the looks you can make with this palette are endless

One of my favourite makeup products to use is the Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder in the shade Pink Glow and it is so pretty. Being Bobbi Brown it is a tad on the more expensive side of things but it is just so stunning. It gives the prettiest glow to your face which is so nice and subtle.

Finally, my trusty Kylie Lip Kit in the shade Koko K is perfect for this season. A pink that isn’t too dark or too bright and lasts all day, what more could you want?! Although it is a Matte Liquid Lipstick it doesn’t leave my lips feeling too dry either which I love.
