One of my favourite makeup brands has to be Revolution, not only is it an amazing drugstore brand with great prices, so many of their products that I own are of such good quality and I swear they just keep getting better and better. When they announced they were finally releasing a foundation I was so excited and was literally counting down the days until it was out in stores! I felt like my collection of revolution products would finally be complete, so soon after they had released their amazing concealer too!
I love that they kept the packaging the same as the concealer, the sleek glass bottle makes it look a lot more than £9 too! It also comes in an amazing 24 shades which for a drugstore brand I think is so good, it makes it available to everyone and so all of us can enjoy this foundation. It’s creamy consistency and being oil free means any skin type can appreciate this long lasting product.
I got this in the shade F1 and it is a great match for my skin. As it says it dries down semi-matte I was worried it wouldn’t be compatible for my dry skin but it is also dewy to a small extent aswell so I didn’t get that annoying cakey look. It has really great coverage which I was happy with as it claims to be a full coverage foundation. It feels so light on my skin and is also super buildable, making it a great natural looking foundation. Applying my Conceal and Define concealer afterwards in the shade C3 makes for a lovely combination that I can’t get enough of.
It has a doe foot applicator which I quite like as not much product gets wasted. This foundation is super easy to blend and just feels so great on my skin which also makes me feel more confident. It’s a foundation that is definetely here to stay in my makeup collection as it does everything it says on the bottle! It does a good job of lasting all day, after more than 8 hours it still looked almost as good as when I had first applied it minus a few dry patches here and there but for £9 I really can’t complain.
Will you be adding this foundation to your makeup routine?
